Good morning!
Spring at Lake Oconee has a certain energy to it. The water is calling, the calendar is filling up, and somehow, the people around here always find a way to make every occasion feel like something worth remembering.
This week's LO Down is full of that spirit. We're welcoming two new businesses to the Lake Country family - both of them already leaning into community. We're spotlighting a chef who has spent nearly four decades making celebrations delicious, a tavern dish worth the drive, and a songwriter's night at Briarpatch Farm that just might be the most meaningful evening on the spring calendar.
And in true Lake Oconee fashion, there are a couple of ways to give back tucked in here too, because this community has never needed much of an excuse to help a neighbor.
Pull up a chair, pour something good, and let's get into it.
