Opening Reception for FARM 2O22 at Madison-Morgan Cultural Center
"FARM 2022" is a Madison-Morgan Cultural Center exhibition exploring the current state of the Southern agrarian way of life. Opening August 26th and on display through October, 29th.
Don’t miss the opening reception on Friday, August 26th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm
"FARM 2022" is an artistic expression of farms and lifestyles in this evolving rural economy and changing aesthetic. Connection with and dependence on the land is a deeply rooted tradition and necessity in rural Georgia. With that in mind, this show, pairs regional artists with local farms. The artist are tasked with creating work influenced by their impression of and experience with the modern farm.

The class will be held on Tuesday, September 13 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Chef Deborah’s Enclave Townhouse in Eatonton
The cost is $85 per person and includes the recipes, instructions and dinner

Oconee Springs Park will soon be packing up the water inflatables. If you and the family are looking for some fun in the sun make sure to visit soon. Inflatables will be out until Labor Day weekend!

Since its creation in 1979, the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce has been dedicated to serving the ever evolving needs of the local businesses in Putnam County that spread throughout the Lake Oconee and Lake Sinclair communities.
The Chamber aims to help small businesses with their professional, economic and community developments by hosting networking opportunities and fundraising events throughout the year. Three of the most notable events the Chamber puts on include the Sweet Tee Off Golf Tournament, Annual Membership Dinner and Legislative Breakfast. Proceeds from these events benefit the Chamber’s programs and scholarship fundings
A major advantage of participating in the Chamber’s membership program is the continuous resources the Chamber provides to small businesses to help them grow their exposure and profitability. Aside from annual and monthly events, the Chamber offers ambassador and leadership programs as well as ribbon cuttings and business promotions. The Chamber enjoys celebrating its members through these events and programs that further the members’ businesses and connect them with one another.
