BankSouth Foundation Honors Local Seniors
The BankSouth Foundation proudly awarded its 2025 Citizenship Award and Scholarship to three outstanding high school seniors who exemplify integrity, leadership, and service:
Jayla Turner – Greene County High School Valedictorian and future Business Administration major at UNG.
Adeline Shuman – Early graduate of Nathanael Greene Academy, now pursuing cosmetology at Oconee Fall Line Tech.
Mary Claire McCommons – Lake Oconee Academy graduate heading to UGA to study Scientific Illustration and a standout student-athlete.
These students were recognized during their schools’ senior award ceremonies. “Their commitment to academics and community service is inspiring,” said BankSouth Foundation board member Beth Thomas.
