The Madison Morgan Cultural Center is hosting a free presentation celebrating the life and legacy of 39th President Jimmy Carter.
Join the event to hear keynote speaker and author Dorothy "Dot" Padgett and moderator and former US representative, John Barrow engage in lively conversation about President Jimmy Carter and his impact.
There will be a book signing for Dot's book, "Jimmy Carter: Elected President with Pocket Change and Peanuts" and a reception to follow.
Nightrain - The Guns N' Roses Tribute Experience at Oconee Brewing Company

Upscale Resale Event
The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer is once again organizing their annual fundraiser, Upscale Resale, which is set to be held on September 30 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at The Lake Oconee Community Church. With the generous donations and support received last year, the event successfully raised $18,000 for the Greene and Putnam County Food Pantries.
Upscale Resale operates solely on donations, allowing them to contribute 100% of the sales proceeds to the food pantries. They have already commenced the collection process and kindly request individuals to consider donating one or more of the following items:
High-value designer handbags and jewelry for an online auction.
Quality new or gently loved designer handbags and jewelry to be sold on the day of the event.
