Steel Magnolias Opens Tomorrow!

The actors, crew and directors have put in the work, now, they are ready for you to see everything they’ve been doing!
Plaza Alliance for the Performing Arts, PAPA, is thrilled to bring the classic story we all know and love to the stage. Steel Magnolias is a southern staple and the cast is very ready to put on their charm for their audiences.
Local theater is so important because it encourages people of all ages to showcase their talents, enjoy the many aspects of play production, and enjoy the thrill of live theater. It makes a huge difference when the theater is full for the performances — actors and actresses can really feed off the energy each audience member brings.
Steel Magnolias marks PAPA’s 78th production. Since its inception in 1978, PAPA has been putting on local theater with your friends, neighbord and colleagues.
PAPA announces each upcoming audition to the public and all are welcome to come.
Steel Magnolias will be performed April 19, 20, 26 & 27 at 7 p.m. and April 21 at 2:30 p.m. The cast, which consists of six of your neighbors and friends, is excited, the crew is ready and the set has been built.
