13th Annual Firefly Trail Ticket to Ride + Union Point’s 120th Birthday Celebration, Sponsored by BankSouth
This year, the City of Union Point celebrates not only the completion of the Firefly Trail between Union Point and Oglethorpe County, but Union Point’s 120th birthday.
The city’s historic Union Theater will serve as a hub for event registration, refreshments and SAG support for cyclists, and as a starting point for the event. The birthday celebration will run in conjunction with live music, food trucks, vendor booths, tours of the city’s historical museum, 5K Fun Run, train ride for kids, and a book signing with well-known author and sports broadcaster, Tony Barnhart.

Community Yoga On The Lawn And Food Drive
Join The Well At Lake Oconee for a special Community Yoga event facilitated by Jamie Sills & Denine Hagen. The class fee is $20 for drop-ins, but free for Well Yoga Members. After the yoga session, cool off with the Well Cold Plunge March Madness Special for an additional $30.
Don't forget to bring perishable items for The Greene County Food Pantry. The person who donates the most food will win a month of yoga, sauna, and cold plunge at The Well ($199 value). This is a great opportunity to give back to the community while enjoying a rejuvenating yoga practice in the outdoors with their experienced instructors.
