The Well Ribbon Cutting with the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber Of Commerce

A ribbon cutting ceremony featuring local community and government leaders will be at 4 pm. The community is invited to visit and learn more about services that will be provided.

Chamber Music Festival: ArcoStrum
Kicking off the 22nd Annual Madison Chamber Music Festival, join them for a performance by ArcoStrum at 7:30pm on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the incredible private home of Serenata Farms. Tickets are $75.

Comprised of international prizewinning artists, guitarist Tengyue (Ty) Zhang and violinist Strauss Shi, ArcoStrum has captured the hearts of audiences through its unique violin-guitar instrumentation and the musicians’ charisma, virtuosity, and dazzling on-stage chemistry.
They have each won multiple international awards, with Ty capturing the Grand Prize at the Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition (GFA-ICAC), and Strauss securing First Prizes at the USC Thornton Concerto Competition, Mondavi Center Young Artists Competition, and United States International Music Competition.
The Duo is a laureate of the 2023 Concert Artists Guild Competition and a recipient of the Audience Prize.

Join the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center on Friday, March 1 at 5:30pm in Upstairs Gallery 1 for the grand opening of a gallery exhibition of Frances Benjamin Johnston (January 15, 1864 – May 16, 1952), an early American photographer and photo journalist.
In celebration of National Women’s History month, the exhibition focuses on a series of 13 photographs she took in Madison in 1939 documenting 7 antebellum homes and one church as part of the Carnegie Survey of the Architecture of the South. On display March through May 2024.

Beginner Pastels With Ann Dodys
Instructor Ann Dodys brings a beginner pastels class to MMCC for the first time! The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center urges you to dive into the creative world of pastels with this unique series of six (6) three-hour classes held in the Hall on Foster. Class size is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot today!
Classes will be held every Tuesday, starting February 20 and ending March 26th, 2024. Registration fees for MMCC members is $185 and non-members $210. Please Note: art students will be required to purchase their own supplies.

Celebrated trumpeter, vocalist, and composer Jumaane Smith headlines the return of the OPAS Lounge Series! Mentored by jazz legend Wynton Marsallis at Julliard, Jumaane has been the lead trumpeter for Michael Buble for almost 20 years.

The Big Event is an exhibition of 180 local businesses, the family-friendly festival showcases home builders, suppliers, remodelers and other industry businesses, including appraisers, pest control, mortgage companies and more. A showcase for home and garden vendors, the event also spotlights arts and crafts vendors and features a popular boat show. A designated Kids Zone offers young children games, activities and face painting.
Attendees will enjoy food trucks and vendors, including Chick-fil-A, Southern Smoke Shack, Island Chef, Queen Churro, Kona Ice, Dough Daddy Dough, Five Finger Philly and Farmers Funnel Cakes.

The remainder of 2024 promises to be extraordinary with a lineup of incredible shows, notably The Kings of Queen set to rock The Plaza stage in March.
