Featured Business: Bug House Pest Control

Not many people can say that they turned a summer job into a 30-year long career and counting. Mike Prosperi did exactly that.
In 1993 Mike started Bug House Pest Control and then in 1996, purchased Mitchell Pest Control from Bob and Dennis Mitchell. Milledgeville was a small town that was quickly growing and was the perfect environment to start a business. Bug House started small with just one location and only one employee. With over 25 years of growth and success, they now have over 16 locations throughout Georgia and employ over 150 people. They also service South Carolina and Alabama.
Their team is made up of skilled individuals. Protecting their customers’ homes is one of their top priorities. At Bug House, it is their goal to treat every customer as if he or she were family. Every service they provide is tailored to fit each customer’s needs. When faced with an obstacle they choose to look for the opportunity behind it, as opposed to focusing on the negative. Bug House’s mission is to be a premier provider for home services in the Southeast. This means constant training and education for their staff, along with expanding services.
