Client Spotlight: BankSouth’s Hurricane Relief Efforts
In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, which has devastated families and communities across Georgia, BankSouth and its Foundation quickly stepped up to support recovery efforts. Through a matching donation program for BankSouth and BankSouth Mortgage employees, they raised an impressive $36,100 to aid in rebuilding the hardest-hit areas of Augusta and Valdosta.
Funds have been directed to the United Way of the CSRA and Greater Valdosta United Way, both actively providing essential resources and long-term support to those impacted by the storm.
"As a company invested in our communities, we’re proud to help our neighbors in need," said Harold Reynolds, Chairman and CEO of BankSouth. Kim Nelson, CEO of BankSouth Mortgage, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing their commitment to offering comfort and resources during this challenging time.
BankSouth encourages the community to join in supporting ongoing relief efforts for those affected by Hurricane Helene.
