Thanksgiving is one of our favorite family holidays. Madi is officially our family’s Thanksgiving Day host and I am very excited to hand off this family tradition to my oldest daughter. I have been training her for this very moment for years. Heck, I even gave Madi and John a turkey size roasting pan for their wedding gift.
We start the day early by sipping mimosas, watching The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and prepping our favorite dishes! Maybe your Thanksgiving includes football or hunting but either way, many of us will have our family in town.

Cavalcade of Stars at Madison-Morgan Cultural Center
"Cavalcade of Stars" features the work of Joni Mabe, who is the creator of Everything Elvis at the Loudermilk Boarding House Museum in Cornelia, Georgia. Mabe began making Elvis inspired work in 1977. She also began acquiring Elvis-related memorabilia and purported relics of the King and eventually based her graduate show around this burgeoning collection of artworks and carefully selected objects. The work was then incorporated into her Traveling Panoramic Encyclopedia of Everything Elvis which travelled for 14 years across the country and Europe before being permanently installed in the boarding house museum.
For the Madison Morgan Cultural Center, she will be presenting a group of her glitter mosaics. These portraits feature Elvis Presley, Otis Redding, Ty Cobb, Steve McQueen, P.T. Barnum and other luminaries of the entertainment world—a true Cavalcade of Stars.

A Broadway veteran of more than a decade, Bradshaw appeared in Jersey Boys and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The "immensely talented" (Associated Press) crooner leads a swinging band featuring a talented trio singing the joyful harmonies of the Andrews Sisters. This concert is one humdinger of a good time! The Andrews Brothers Dueling Pianos Holiday Concert at OBC
The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loudly for all to hear!
For those who haven't been to one of these concerts before - Each song is requested by the audience, and The Brothers know well over 1,500 popular songs. Everyone is pleasantly persuaded to become part of the show, and even the most bashful and self-conscious patron will soon be singing gleefully and dancing!
This is an 18 and older concert in Oconee Brewing Company’s Event Center. Beer, wine, and hard seltzer are not included in the price of a ticket.
Note: Georgia law prohibits any alcohol on site other than what is made by the brewery. I.e., no, you may not bring your own alcohol to an event at OBC.
