Kiersten Tuel started Oconee Wild Watersports in 2012 after working for her dad’s business, Jet Ski Terry’s for four years. He was ready to get out, but she was ready to dive in!
With the help of her business partner, they purchased four new Yamaha WaveRunners and a pontoon boat to get started. Initially, Kiersten would deliver rentals to customers herself, a service that was exclusive to her, and was more than happy to do.
With her growing business, she needed a permanent location and signed a lease in April 2013. They then added kayak and paddle board rentals as well. Over the years Oconee Wild Watersports has experienced tremendous growth, in no small part to their value on service and making sure each customer has the best experience possible. The staff works tirelessly to ensure the equipment is the best they can possibly provide.
Customers can choose to rent from pontoons, kayaks, paddle boards and Jet Skis as well as wakeboards, tubes, water skis, Chaparral Ski Boat, Sea Pro Citation deck boat, and Elite Tritoons with 200hp or 250hp. They still offer delivery service, which many had come to love. They also upgrade their fleet every two years and provide captains for their boats. Too busy to stop in?
